Old Fence Photo Booth

I tend not to throw much away because I seem to usually find a use for it. When part of our fence blew down over the summer, the first image that popped into my head was using them as a back drop for events.

I didn't go to town trying to make this a permanent structure. I really just simply put a long 2x4 behind the fence for leverage. It held up the whole day but did fall down that night in the wind, which is fine because I really only wanted it to stay up the day of the Tea Party.

Next, I wanted to create some simple decor to hang across the fence. I took some scrap book paper, cut about 20 triangles and punched 2 holes in either end.

Next I took some twine, strung the flags through, and fitted it to the fence.

It ended up looking pretty cute. The wind is blowing in this picture so it is not the best. But it made a cute background and a nice photo opp.
